We are going to Disneyland with just addi next week! that is the most exciting think in our house this past month or so! OK OK I did it! I get crap all the time for not updating but I really never sit at a computer! Here she is! Our little Scottlyn!Borm September 7th at 3:21am. she weighed 7lbs 6oz and was 19 inches yes fatter and shorter than Addison! She is so fun and such a happy baby! Addison is the best big sister and so protective. David loves having 2 princesses no matter how much he wants a boy he is so happy with 2 girls! we love them both so much!

So I did some online shoping! not exactly what I wanted but that one was too exspensive! way out of my budget and this one comes with more and its still LADY BUGS!!!! It comes with the bedding window treatment wall docor and diaper holder!!! LOVE it and its different then everybody else!

So I went to labor and delivery last week cause I was having cramps and contractions. Next thing I know I am getting sterroid shots to help the baby develop cause I am in pre term labor. I was only at a 1cm but 70% efaced!!! from that moment I got put on strickt bed rest no work or walking across the wal mart parking lot until after the baby comes. I'M GOING CRAZY!!!! So while i'm sitting doing nothing I figured I need a project soooo I'm making tutu's! So cute. Addi loves hers (sorry no pics) I am willing to sale them if anybody would like to make an order HA

ok I don't ever update cause I don't feel like I have anything to update... Addi is getting big I'm getting big and david is just getting hotter ha ha I am due sepember 22nd and it just can't come fast enough. So we have been spending a lot of time wih Auntir Amy. I we arent doing graduation prom or college stuff then its wedding. I'm so excited for all of amy's upcoming events. It is amazing to me that Addison is almost 1 years old. Here I am planning her 1st birthday party! she is just growing up way too fast. and no that doesn't mean time for another one... She already can say and do things that I could never imagine a 11 month old doing. like when she here's any up beat music she dances and has rhythm (didn't know where she got it from). she eats like a little piggy has 5 teeth and is almost ready to Walk. David finally let me get a forward facing car seat so she loves to take rides in mommy's truck. I asked David "whats next? a big girl bed?" I'm just not ready for this!

We have the best friends in the world!! I love all of our friends but its kinda hard to hange out with them with addison. So we have been hanging out with the LEFEVRE'S. Sopinater is 6 days older than Addison. They are best friends. I wish I could capture a good picture when they see eachother. Oh man its so cute. Seth and David work together and are jointed at the hip. Leslie and I love when we get a minute to go out without the girls even going to the store for a formila run to target. I love shoping with her david loves it too casuse she keeps me in line by not letting me spend every penny I have LOL. Well these are our best friends the Lefevre's. Since Saturday morning Addison hasn't been feeling well. she vomited a little in the morning lot on my sister at wal mart then a whole lot at David's work Christmas party. We thought well its just the flu. then she wouldn't hold any food down and was sleeping a lot on Sunday by Monday morning @ about 6am she has has enough and so I took her to the ER and David met us there. I figured they would just give her an IV for some fluid but then they checked her sugar level and it was at only 29 and its suppose to be over 100. hey called my Dr and he decided to admit her to the 400 East campus (the old hospital for pediatrics) up until the ambulance got there with Smettee (the emt) she was sick, theeeen she was all better cause when she go into the ambulance they blew kisses at each other played peek aboo and she was trying to hold his hand. it was so cute cause it was the most active she had been for a couple of days. when we got the the 400 campus she was the star of the show. she got all the attention then came more sickness at about 8:00pm. we were so thankful for all the nurses and visitors cause with out then I would have lost it. I was a basket case. I think the hardest thing when ou have a child is seeing them sick and hooked up to an IV for over 24hrs. We got to come home at about 5pm today and she is doing well. I guess it was the ROTA virus. your guess is as good as mine . I have never heard of it. I will keep everybody posted. Thank you so much to all he family and friends for the support and prayers. We greatly appreciate it. oh yes by the way all together she got 3 bears one ginger bread mad a frog a frog blanket and a Christmas blanket. I guess its the special treatment for being there during the holidays.

So last night DAVID had a great idea of getting all of the big snow balls we could find in town and pile them in front of his dad's door way. oh my heck it was so fun. we called up the lefevre's for some help. We had the back of out truck packed full of heavy snow balls so much that our truck was bottomed out. so this is the half way point of the door (sorry i didn't get the final product). So when Seth took one of the big ones up to the door it made a bang so the dogs started to bark from there on we knew we were busted. Scott (David's dad) wasn't mad at all he thought it was a great idea. Shauna wasn't so happy. it was so so so funny.

Yup Addison has figured out how to turn the TV on and off, and as you can see I can get her hair into a pony!!!! YAY!!! so cute she hates it but I just tell her beauty is pain. This is Addison the other day in wal-mart. I must say I'm so excited for her first christmas and as you can see so is she. Everybody says oh she won't even remember but I will and I can't wait to see the exspresion on her face when she wakes in the morning to see the tree lit up and all kids of toys under it. Iknow call me stupid but its exciting stuff. AND she will be 9 months so she will kinds know how to figure out the toys to play!!!

Tonight after a bad day at work David and Addsion picked me up and we headed to a SGPD pick nick. It was so fun to go and forget about the work day that just passed. All of the wife's and babies were there. They all love playing with each other. I love the wife's and kids its so fun to talk about the crazy shedules they have to work. Most of the mommies don't even work so they get to stay home and watch there babies grow. I wish so badly I could. Oh well we live a comfortable life.

While us girls chatted the night away the boys played a game of football and of course glass boy (David) got hurt. OK so kinda off subject, Addison is in love with Shawn Carter. She gets all happy and reaches for him, this big smile is her watching his every move. I love our new friends the lafevre's and Carter's. We all get along so well and love hanging out with each other when we can.

Today is 911. Marks another year has past of lost love ones across the U.S. I support our troops 110%. As some of you know it is also my birthday. Since my 13Th? birthday whenever people as me when it is I get a look of death from everybody. I like to think happy thoughts and have fun but its so hard to because of all the memorial stuff on TV and the radio. I refuse listen to any of it. We get reminded of it every single day and the one day that is special to me I would like to keep it that way. I know this sounds selfish but I've held it in for so long already. I love the country I live in and appreciate the freedoms we have! don't get me wrong but I just want to have fun on this day.

Yes this year is the big 21 and for my birthday David is getting me a massage. Saturday night my family and friends over the age of 21 are all going to mesquite. ever since I can remember I've watched my sister and mom go to bingo and talk about how much fun they had and how much they won or lost. So I finally get to go! Then we are going to the buffet then the CLUB!!! Amanda my older sister is so excited to take me to a club. Pretty Exciting stuff!

4am Scare

Addison has had problems latly sleeping through the night and last night she slept all night. At about 4am I woke up and asked david if he had gotten up with her at all and he said no so I listened for her to make a sound on the monitor and nothing so I almost ran into her bedroom and she was on her tummy, I touched her nose and she twitched so i had a sigh of refiefe, she kinda woke up so I made her a bottle and she went right back to sleep until a little after 9. Then this afternoon david sent me a picture of her in the same position as last night and she had been sleeping for an hour and a half. I guess she is like her mommy and loves to sleep on her tummy.

I know I'm a week late to update but life has been crazy. So labor day we had some Friends over for a BBQ, David and I made some yummy Mexican food for our guests. It was a fun day and very relaxing. Lately has sucked with David's work schedule, he has been on graves so he works while we sleep and sleeps while we are awake. We have to leave the house while he sleeps so I get no rest. Its nice to have him home on Sundays (the only day we have off together) but we are both on edge from being so dang tired. Yesterday we broke the Sabbath and went to lunch for my birthday at red lobster. My little sister Amy met us there and brought me a birthday present. a whole big gift bag full of scrap booking stuff, paper stickers and everything. I love it. I have recently started a scrap book for Addi and I'm having so much fun doing it. I will update more soon. Have a great week.

the first time today.

she LOVED it! she got it everywhere but its ok we had so much

fun watching her gulp it down and reach for more. We got a new

high chair that I suggest everybody getting. It straps to any chair and

goes anywhere. David and I have had a hard time getting Addison

sit up on her own and it has helped with that as well.

So I guess you can say we are a bit jelouse of our friends buying nice HOUSES for the same price or better than our 2 bed 2 bath condo. Yesterday I started to look on line and a warm feeling came over me and something told me to keep looking. I called david and he said this is a good idea. We will be praying and hoping that we get lead in the right direction. these are a few houses I found on line. They aren't the newest or nicest by any means but they have so much more space than you would think, basements and all.

Last Friday Addison had a docter appointment. i felt kinda bad cause david had just gotten off a gravyard shift 9pm to 7am and the appointment was at 11:00. I really needed him to go last time I went alone a cried more than addison when the nurse gave her the shots, I just really needed his support. So as we are waiting david picks up a Dr. Sues book and reads it to her, she LOVED it. She got so into it. Then when that book was over he picked up a trucks book. It had dump trucks, pick up trucks then a FIRE TRUCK, David reads the page then says "this is what uncle Tyler rides in cause they won't let him drive." it was so funny. David gets so funny when he is tired, I think he is in better moods when he doesn't get sleep. Anyways just some funny stories, by the way she did great with her shots. Daddy picked her up and everything was better.

So we have had a lot going on in our life. We went to san diego as you can see from the last post and this weekend we are going to a Slack family reunion in cedar. Grandma and Grandpa Slack has rented cabins for each family. We love them so so so much, I don't lnow where we would be without them such a blessing to have them in our lives. Work is going good for the both today marks my 2 years with IHC and David's 1 year with the dept. We wish so badley that I din't have to work but we have to make ends meet. I think everybody knows how that is right now.

Addison is growing so fast she does something new everyday. Here are some things that she has done.she found her toes and munches on them whenever she gets a chance, roll over,she loves to play peek a boo, loves bath time and swimming, and she loves to blow rasberries at mommy and daddy. Its kinda sad cause this week she has an ear infection and all congested and so am I. I guess it all comes with teething.

San Diego

We had so much fun in San Diego last week. Daddy burried Addison in the sand at the beach and we played in the water and she got to meet the hole family! It was such an awesome short vacation. She liked the sand but wan't lovin the water too much. It was the perfect temp for us but not so much for a baby.

IHC is so dumb they have blocked the ability to put pictures on our pages, and because this is one of the only computers I have. I guess I will have to just keep doing slide shows. So last night I was a bad girl. A while back I got called to the enrichment committee and I was assigned to make a dessert for last nights lesson. Now knowing relief society everything is home aid. They obviously don't know me very well. So yesterday I got thinking I didn't really want to go, I just wanted to be with my family so i dropped off the rice crisy treats and went on my way then half way down the hall I ran into the Bishop don don don don... I said "HI" and left as fast as I could. David had the best idea to rent a move (which was a bad choice) and get some pizza delivered. Good idea honey. Addison wasn't that bad and fell asleep kinda early so we got to have some alone quiet cuddle time on the couch. It was a great night!

Swimming

This weekend David, Addison and I went swimming as a family for Addison's first time (pictures below). She LOVED it. We were so happy cause we are going to the beach soon and I want her to like the water.

We Took a few pictures of us in the pool and lunch with daddy. OnSaturday I went and got us some panda and met up with David at the station, Addison was so into his cup. She is getting so curios about everything she grabs for anything and everything. Its so cute she willreach out of my arms for David but won't come to me.Can we say daddy's girl? Well we love our baby girl andwe don't know what we would do without her.

I don't know if i have ever even wrote how we are doing and

the up coming events in our lives. Well here's a start. I have

just recently found out that the Dr

I work for is taking the whole first week of

august off so that means I get it off too!!! never had that before.

So on the 2ND my whole family is going to San Diego

to visit the other side of the family! i haven't been

down for like 2 years. None of the family has

had the privilege of meeting Addi so that is so exciting.

Then on August 15Th we are going to the

slack family reunion up at the cedar duck creek cabins.

I was getting pretty sad cause here we are almost done

with summer and we haven't done anything then BAM I get to do my

2 favorite things go to San Diego and be with family! well I'll keep you all posted.

So I just recently quit Zion orthopaedics I

really think its a good move. I love my new job.

The Doctor and the people are so awesome.

I miss my girls at the other office can't

replace them but I had to do it. I'm closer to

home and no Fridays who can complain? The

hardest part is leaving my

beautiful baby girl and husband every morning.

I feel like I'm missing out on everything but its

what we have to do to make ends

meet. David says I would'nt have to work if i quit

spending money but i don't believe him.
